By expanding cooperation with major players in the North American EV market, the company is expected to accelerate the strengthening of its global supply chain competitiveness.
Belinker is a manufacturing platform company that provides a wide range of manufacturing services—including precision machining, sheet metal, welding, fabrication, and post-processing—as its own integrated solution, based on a network of hundreds of manufacturers in Korea.
With high-mix, low-volume production and fast delivery responsiveness as its key strengths, the company has recently been expanding collaboration with US clients in the industrial automation, battery, electric vehicle (EV), and robotics sectors.
The company explained that it currently operates a Korea-based manufacturing supply chain service for US clients and continues to receive repeat orders from numerous US manufacturing companies.
In particular, amid the growing movement to replace existing Chinese supply chains, Belinker is securing its competitiveness on the strength of "fast responsiveness," "precision quality," and "smooth communication." To date, its reorder rate among US clients has reached 100%.
Recently, the company was selected as a supplier to Rivian—the North American EV maker that boasts the second-largest market share after Tesla—successfully entering the vendor pool of a global corporation.
Through this Chicago subsidiary establishment, Belinker plans to increase its local responsiveness in the US and strengthen communication and sales activities with clients. The company also intends to pursue strategic collaboration and supply chain expansion with US manufacturing companies based on its local subsidiary.
Jaemin Ahn, CEO of Belinker, stated, "The US manufacturing market is undergoing rapid supply chain restructuring, and the precision and delivery competitiveness of Korean manufacturing is once again drawing attention in the global market," adding, "Belinker will go beyond simple manufacturing brokerage to serve as a bridge connecting the Korean manufacturing ecosystem with the global market."
He continued, "We are building a local base so that US manufacturing companies can access Korean manufacturing more easily, and going forward, we plan to expand into the digitalization of manufacturing collaboration through integration with 'Belinker Cloud,' our manufacturing data and drawing management SaaS."
